Visit Madeira - Destination & Tourism Photography

I have collaborated with Visit Madeira, the official tourism board of Madeira, across two photographic assignmentsdocumenting the island through two distinct seasons.

Working over multiple stays allowed me to capture Madeira’s changing atmosphere, from dramatic volcanic landscapes and Atlantic coastlines to traditional villages, mountain peaks and the island’s unique natural light. Experiencing the destination at different times of the year provided a broader visual narrative while highlighting the diversity that defines Madeira.

As destination photographer, my objective was to create authentic imagery designed to inspire travel while reflecting the identity of the island. Combining landscape photography, lifestyle moments, aerial perspectives and documentary storytelling, the resulting work was produced for destination marketing, digital communication, editorial content and social media campaigns.

Using both ground-based photography and professional drone imagery, I documented Madeira from a variety of perspectives, creating a complete visual archive that showcases the island’s geography, atmosphere and outdoor culture.

Collaborating with a tourism board requires balancing artistic vision with strategic communication. Every image is created not only to capture the beauty of a destination, but also to strengthen its international visibility through compelling visual storytelling.

These two photographic campaigns reinforce my experience working with tourism boards, travel brands and destination marketing organisations throughout Europe, producing imagery that combines authenticity, emotion and commercial impact.
